Who are the Believers. 30 lessons from the Holy Quran.

Who are the Believers. 30 lessons from the Holy Quran.

In the name of ALLAH the most Gracious the most Merciful.

(1) Who Accept Islam whole-Heartedly.

O ye who believe enter into Islam whole-heartedly..{2:208}.

(2) who give up usury.

O ye who believe Fear ALLAH, and give up What remains of your demand for usury, if ye are indeed believers.{2:278}.

(3) who keep a record of mutual debts.

O ye who believe when ye deal with each other, in transactions involving future obligations in a fixed period of time, reduce them to writhing..{2:282}.

(4) who do not lose heart nor grieve.

Lose not heart, nor fall into despair: for ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith.{3:139}.

(5) who put their trust in ALLAH alone.

If ALLAH helps you, none can overcome you:
If He forsakes you, who is there, after that, that can help you?
in ALLAH, then, let Believers put their trust.{3:160}.

(6)  who fear ALLAH.

It is only the Satan that suggests to you the fear of his votaries:
Be ye not afraid of them, but fear Me, if ye have Faith.{3:175}.

(7) who do not misappropriate each other’s wealth.

O ye who believe eat not up your property among yourselves in vanities:
But let there be amongst you traffic and trade by mutual good-will..{4:29}.

(8) who fight for the cause of ALLAH.

Those who believe fight in the cause of ALLAH..{4:76}.

(9) who discriminate between friend and foe when on jehad.

O ye who believe when ye go out in the cause of ALLAH, investigate carefully..{4:94}.

(10) who do not stay where divine verses are ridiculed.

..that when ye hear the Message of ALLAH held in defiance and ridicule, ye are not to sit with them. Unless they turn to a different theme: if ye did, ye would be like them..{4:140}.

(11) who repent and mend their life.

Except for those who repent, mend (their life), hold fast to ALLAH, and make their religious devotion sincere to ALLAH: if so they will be (numbered) with the Believers.{4:146}.

(12) who Believe in Qur’an and past revealed texts.

But those among them who are well-grounded in knowledge, and the Believers, believe in what hath been revealed to thee and what was revealed before thee..{4:162}.

(13) who will enter the Paradise free of grief and fear.

..Enter ye the Garden: no fear shall be on you, nor shall ye grieve.{7:49}.

(14) Qualities of true believers.

 ..Fear ALLAH,
And keep straight the relations between yourselves:
Obey ALLAH and His Messenger, if ye do believe.
Believers are those who, when ALLAH is mentioned, fell a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His revelations rehearsed, find their faith strengthened,
and put (all) their trust in their Lord;
Who establish regular prayers
and spend (freely) out of the gifts We have given them for sustenance:
Such in truth are the Believers..{8:2-4}.

   Those that
*  Turn (to ALLAH) in repentance; that
*  Serve Him, and
*  praise Him; that
*  wander in devotion to Cause of ALLAH; that
*  bow down and prostrate themselves in prayer, that
*  enjoin good and forbid evil; and
*  observe the limits set by ALLAH,
   (these do rejoice), So proclaim the glad tidings to the Believers.{9:112}.

(15) who enjoin right and forbid wrong.

The believers, men and women, are protectors, one of another:
They enjoin what is just, and forbid what is evil..{9:71}.

(16) who prefer honest livelihood.

That which is left you by ALLAH is best for you,
If ye (but) believed..{11:86}.

(17) who take things in good Faith without ascribing evil motives.

Why did not the Believers men and women when ye heard of the affair, thought well of their people and say, This (charge) is an obvious lie?.{24:12}.

(18)  who do not indulge in false accusation.

..glory to thee (our Lord) this is a most serious slander
ALLAH doth admonish you, that ye may never repeat such (conduct), if ye are (true) Believers.{24:16-17}.

(19) who do not follow satan’s footsteps.

O ye who believe follow not Satan’s footsteps: if any will follow the footsteps of Satan, he will (but) command what is indecent and wrong..{24:21}.

(20) who are unlike the wicked and the rebellious.

Is then the man who believes no better than the man who is rebellious and wicked? Not equal are they.{32:18}.

(21) whose faith and morale increase against a stronger enemy.

When the Believers saw the Confederate forces, they said: This is what ALLAH and His Messenger had promised us, and ALLAH and His Messenger told us what was true. And it only added to their faith and their zeal in obedience.{33:22}.

(22) who consider themselves bound to obey the decisions of ALLAH and His Messenger.

(26) who are not friendly with those who have earned ALLAH’s wrath.

O ye who believe turn not (for friendship) to people on whom is the Wrath of ALLAH. Of the Hereafter they are already in despair, just as the Unbelievers are in despair about those (buried) in graves.{60:13}.

(27) who do not say what they do not practise.

O ye who believe why say ye that which ye do not?..{61:2}.

(28) who do not let family ties stand in the way of ALLAH.

O ye who believe truly, among your wives and your children are (some that are) enemies to yourselves: so beware of them
But if ye forgive and overlook and cover up (their faults), verily ALLAH is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.{64:14}.

(29) who repent sincerely.

O ye who believe turn to ALLAH with sincere repentance: in the hope that your Lord will remove from you your evil deeds..{66:8}.

(30) who are sincere Believers.

Only those are Believers who have believed in ALLAH and His Messenger, and have never since doubted , but have striven with their belongings and their persons in the Cause of ALLAH: such are the sincere ones.{49:15}.

   It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces towards East or West;
   but it is righteousness
*  to believe in ALLAH
*  and the Last Day,
*  and the Angels,
*  and the Book,
*  and the Messengers;
*  To spend of your substance, out of love for Him,
*  for your kin,
*  for orphans,
*  for the needy,
*  for the wayfarer,
*  (for those who ask, and
*  for the ransom of slaves;
*  to be steadfast in prayer,
*  and give Zakat,
*  To fulfil the contracts which ye have made;
*  and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity,
   And throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth,
   the God-fearing.{2:177}.
