Indeed Taqwa causes a believer to attain Allah's Love, and this love which Allah bestows upon the believers is for this life and the Hereafter.

Those that keep their plighted faith and act aright, verily Allah loves those who act aright.{3:76}. 

And know that ALLAH is with those who fear Him.{9:123}. 

And He will befriend the righteous.{7:196}.

The most honoured of you in the sight of ALLAH is (he who is) the most righteous of you.{49:13}.

..For ALLAH doth love the righteous.{9:7}.
