Indeed Taqwa causes a believer to attain Allah's Mercy and this Mercy is for this life and the Hereafter.

..I afflict My punishment on whom I will; 

but My Mercy extendeth to all things. That (Mercy) I shall ordain for 

those who do right, 

and pay Zakat 

and those who believe in Our Signs;
